Ghost Comm: Blacksite Protocol

GHOSTCOMM: BLACKSITE PROTOCOL Is Live — Exclusively for Level 2 Agents
Vivid Labs News
GhostComm just got a new front door.
Today we're opening GhostComm: Blacksite Protocol, a browser-based multiplayer shooter built from the ground up for the GhostComm community, and gated behind Level 2 agent status. If you've put in the work to reach Level 2, this is yours to play right now — no download, no install, phone or desktop.
What It Is
Blacksite Protocol is a free-for-all objective shooter. Up to 16 agents drop into Sublevel 4 – Applied Research, a classified underground facility built around one simple, brutal loop: grab the case, hold the case, don't die holding the case.
One orange hard case spawns at the center of the map. Whoever's carrying it is visible to everyone — through walls — via a floating marker over their head. Your hold time counts up for as long as you're alive and carrying. Get shot, and the case drops right where you fell, live for the next agent to take. When the 3-minute round clock hits zero, the agent with the most accumulated hold time wins.
It's simple to explain and hard to sit on. Holding center is high value and highly exposed, which is where the signature mechanic comes in.

Deployable Cover: The Wall Is the Weapon
Every agent carries three deployable cover charges. Hit the DEPLOY button and a 2x2 meter concrete slab drops in front of you, snapped to the grid, ready to eat eight hits before it shatters. Charges regenerate every 12 seconds.
Wall off an angle. Box yourself in to protect a hold. Just remember — a wall that protects you also blinds you. Reading the map in real time, not just aiming, is what separates the agents at the top of the leaderboard from everyone else.
Combat itself stays lean on purpose: one hitscan rifle, three shots to eliminate, a 12-round mag. No loadouts, no weapon swaps, nothing to slow down a match built for quick, tense rounds you can play in a coffee break or a commute.
A Look Built for the Facility, Not Borrowed From One
Blacksite Protocol runs on a hard four-color palette — near-black, deep olive, sage green, and one saturated warning orange reserved entirely for the case, hazards, and your HUD. Flat-shaded geometry, baked lighting, heavy dither texture. No gradients, no noise, no clutter. It's a deliberate, retro-handheld read on a modern black-site facility, and it's original to GhostComm — the Server Hall, the glass-walled Clean Rooms, the Loading Bay, the Corridor Spine, all built for this game, all yours to learn.
The sound design matches the restraint: no music while you play, just the hum of the facility, the crack of the rifle, the scrape of concrete when a wall goes up — until the final 30 seconds of the round, when a single low synth line starts building toward the horn.

Built for Your Phone First
Two virtual joysticks, a FIRE button, a DEPLOY button, and a live SCORES overlay — that's the whole control scheme, tuned for thumbs. Desktop agents get WASD, mouse look, and keyboard shortcuts as a fallback, but this was designed mobile-first because that's where most of GhostComm lives.
Matches run on real-time multiplayer infrastructure with server-authoritative state, so what you see is what actually happened — no phantom hits, no fudged hold timers.
Why Level 2
GhostComm's tiers exist to give real agents something the general public doesn't get. Blacksite Protocol is the biggest example of that yet — a full multiplayer game built specifically for this community, not a tie-in and not a reskin. Level 2 was the bar. If you've cleared it, the door's open.
Deploy now at ghostcomm.com.
